ACME Roof Collapse 6/20

Around 4am crews were dispatched to assist the Flourtown Fire Company at the Acme for a report of a roof collapse and smoke following a possible lighting strike with workers still inside the building. Thankfully upon arrival all employees were accounted, not injured and there was no active fire. The roof collapse caused major damage to the store. The exact reason for collapse is still under investigation. Also on scene were the Wyndmoor Hose, Barren Hill Volunteer Fire Company, Fort Washington Fire Company No. 1, Wissahickon Fire Company and Community Ambulance Association, Ambler Fire Company.
